Use the SecuKEEPER v2 to Protect "Received Files" of MSN!

Foreword.. Be well-known, both the MSN 6.0 and the higher version put "Received Files" on local computer, for all users with MSN, this is very good feature to help them use it better, but this is not secure, the "Received Files" with MSN is stored on the local computer without encryption. Everyone can open this files, it will look like following:

Once the "Received Files" be theft with other people, you will lost your important infomation. How to resolve this question? The best soltion is using SecuKEEPER v2. Continue to read, We will tell you the details.

Step1.. First, using the SecuKEEPER v2 to create a Private Coffer. Set the size of Private coffer based on the size of your "Received Files".

Step2.. Set a Password for the Private Coffer, recommend you click the PG button to automatically genrate a strong passowrd for your private coffer.

Step3.. After you finished this process, the Private Coffer can be used for storing the "Received Files" with encryption. Create a new folder in your private coffer, for example: i:\msn. Now startup the MSN, click Tools/Options/Messages.

Step4.. Click "Change...", to select the new folder(i:\msn) for storing the "Received Files".

Step5.. Backup original directory, for example: F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Received Files, here are all "Received Files". Move or Copy all "Received Files" to the new folder(i:\msn).

Completed the configuration, Now you can use the MSN as usual, but with strong security.

Step6.. When you leave, simply close the private coffer, the "Received Files" will be protected.

Step7.. When you return, simply open the private coffer, then you can view all "Received Files".
